This blog post is in relation to the exercise on Page 27 of the OCA Photography 1 - TAOP course material.
In this set of photographs I think number 3 (P1-part1-ex2-3.jpg) works best in terms of composition, with the subject close to the edge it makes the background become more of a subject itself, rather than just an area around the main subject. This is also why number 4 is my least favourite of the set, because neither the subject or the background stand-out and draw my attention.
