TAOP - Part 1 - Exercise 5 - Focal Lengths and Different View Points

This blog post is in relation to the exercise on Page 32 of the OCA Photography 1 - TAOP course material.

This exercise is basically the opposite of the last one. It shows the difference in perspective and the relationship between objects is altered by shifting the physical viewpoint from which the photograph is taken.

I found this old burnt out motorbike in the same stone quarry where the last set of photos were taken, and think it gives a good demonstration on perspective. The various parts of the bike appear to change in size in relation to each other depending on the viewpoint and the focal length of the lens. It's interesting to see how the sense of depth within the picture changes with the perspective.
